Formia
Formia is one of the oldest cities in the south pontine coast which, in Roman times, became a more popular tourist destination. Cicero himself chose Formia for his country villa, the remains of which emerge here and there in the city. Important milestones in the city of Formia are: the Tomb of Cicero, the village of Castellone where you can visit the “Cistern”, the Roman Amphitheatre and the old village of Mola.
